He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Curran and Jeanne Curran; his wife Colleen Gerighty; and his sisters, Patricia Taber and Kathryn Curran.

He is survived by: his stepson James Gerighty; his siblings, Timothy Curran (Melanie), Joan Curran-Ellsworth (Roger) and Peggy Koenigsknecht (Tim); and his brother-in-law Larry Taber.
