Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lavonna Jean Hoover of Spring Arbor, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 87, on September 20, 2025. She was predeceased by: her father Carl Seiter; her husband David Hoover; her parent Madalene Birkmeier (Brooks Seiter); and her brother Wayne Seiter. She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Helmes (Larry) and Marilyn Sleder (Ted); her grandchildren, Bobbie Helmes Kelley (Ryan), Charlie Sleder (Katelyn) and Audrey Sleder Kegerreis (Coby); her great grandchildren, Cameron Kelley, Dylan Kelley, Brooke Sleder and Luke Sleder; and her sisters, Evaleen Hopkins (Jackie) and Darlene Vagnozzi (Steve). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Funeral Home-Ionia (3521 S State Rd, Ionia, MI 48846). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Foundation (Gentiva Hospice - Jackson) or First Presbyterian Church Ionia.
