She was predeceased by: her husband James Elder; and her brother Phil Mapson. She is survived by: her sons, James Elder and John Elder; her grandchildren, Alec Elder, Jordan Peralta, Darren, Elexis and Brennden Elder; and her siblings, Peggy Hanson (Geraldine Mapson) and Howard Mapson.

Memorial contributions in memory of Diana may be given to Hospice of Michigan.
