It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Edward Polak (Spring Lake, Michigan), born in Grand Haven, Michigan, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Emil Polak and Estelle Polak (Buczek); and his sister Evelyn Reiss. He is survived by : his wife Helen Blaney; his children, Cindy Sauser (Don), Tim Polak, Nancy Palmer (Dave), Chris Davis (Dan) and Penny Polak (Lee Jerousek); his grandchildren, Nikki Harvey (Matt), Kari Davis (James), Alicia Jorgensen (Earl), David Palmer (Angie), Les Shaw (Jen), Nic Shaw (Erin), Jessica Cherry and Kalie Davis (Adam McArthur); his siblings, Linda Wildey (Al), Dennis Polak (Diane) and David Polak (Gerry); and also Mary Bratherton. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick - St. Anthony Catholic Parish Church (920 Fulton St, Grand Haven, MI 49417). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Parish (920 Fulton St, Grand Haven, MI 49417).
