He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ballast and Flora Ballast (Fox); and his wife Jeannie. He is survived by: his children, Gera Peel (Christopher), Todd Ballast (Michelle) and Rachelle Bierod (Tyler); his grandchildren, Chezney Parker (Chad), Saebryn Peel, Abigail Ballast, Isabella Bierod, Noah Bierod and Elijah Bierod; his great grandchildren, Callan and Rove Parker; his sister Sherry Whiting (Hugh); and his niece Kristin Voinovich (Mike).
