James Davis Solon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Davis Solon of Spring Lake, Michigan, who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Solon and Mary Solon (Davis); his brother Patrick Solon; his nephew John Bergquist; and his sister-in-law Connie Van Schelven.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Van Schelven; his daughters, Elizabeth Jackson (Daniel) and Ginger Partee (Michael); his grandchildren, James Davis Jackson (Kelsey), Matthew Jackson (Claudia) and Katherine Partee; his great grandchildren, Mark and Madelyn Jackson; and his sister Joan Bergquist. He is also survived by nieces and nephew.
