He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Deal and Inez Deal (Waldron); his son Erik Mason; and his siblings, Allen Waterloo, Harold Green, Gordon Green, Larry Deal, Richard Deal, Marilyn Anderson, Charlene Robinson and Cheryl Wildey.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole Vilminot (Darren), Charity Hutchins (Craig), Todd Deal and Christian Deal (Lindsay); and his sister Sheila Koster. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
