With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wesley C. DeWitt of Spring Lake, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2026 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claus J. DeWitt and Ruby Marian DeWitt (Simons); his former wife Helen Peterson; his granddaughter Gwendolyn Bierman (Paul Bierman); his son-in-law Timothy Wallace; his sisters, Irene Peterson and Shirley Buitendorp; and his siblings-in-law, Owen Peterson, John Peterson, Fred Peterson, Bill Liefer, Mary Veurink (Peterson) and Muriel Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Nummerdor; his daughters, Barbara Vanderwall (Robert), Jayne Wallace, Gale DeVos (Andy) and Pamela Bosse (Chris); his grandchildren, Jamie Groesbeck (Jim), Brenden Wallace, Jessica Hartman (Steve), Jason DeVos, Aaron DeVos, Michelle Redder (Doug), Kyle DeVos (Sabrina), Zackary Weavers (Sherri), Brooke Bosse and Jake Anderson; and his sisters, Karen Liefer and Diane Roels. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
