Clayton touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Clayton’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lanson Tilford and Francis Tilford; his sister Kay Hoag; and his half-brother Richard Hisler. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Tilford; his children, Allen Grant Tilford and Lisa Ann Prince; and his sister Sharon Lincoln (Carl). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Springport VFW (230 Mechanic St, Springport, MI 49284).
