Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Horace Whittum and Hildred Whittum (Harkness); his wife Diana Whittum (Flower); his sons, Jim Whittum (Kim) and Jeremy Whittum; his stepdaughters, Sarah Buckland (Tye) and Hannah Gray (Brian); and his brother Tom Whittum. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, many extended family members and friends.
