He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Charles and Louise (Heisler) Keeler; parents-in-law: Dean and June Mead; wife: Dena Keeler; children: Eric (Missy) Keeler, Brian (Jodi) Keeler and Rus (Michelle) Keeler; grandchildren: Justin (Katie) Koch, Zack (Hailee) Keeler, Kim (Brian) Berberich, Emily (Nate) Hutchison, Austin Keeler, Ty Keeler, Nick Keeler, Rachel Keeler, Claire Persicke, Jacob (Mary Jo) Persicke, and Jonathan Persicke; great-grandchildren: Ava, Lily, Knox, Mollie, Lawson, and Ayla; brothers: Daniel (Barbara) Keeler and Steve (Leona) Keeler; brothers and sisters-in-law: Linda (Steve) Bell, Chris (Doug) Talbot, and Tom (Laurie) Mead; other: Harvey Sparr; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vickers Springport Funeral Home (121 Pearl St, Springport, MI 49284). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Springport Sports Boosters, Pope United Methodist Church, or Springport VFW Adams-Rockey Post.
