Christie M. Krivy Obituary

Christie "Chris" M. Krivy, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, at the Villa of West Branch. Born on June 9, 1948, in Standish, Michigan.

Chris was the cherished daughter of the late Kenneth and Betty (Wiseman) Berry. She was the beloved wife of Nicky L. Charnoske, with whom she shared countless precious moments. Her love continues through her daughters, Connie (Scott) Ferguson and Jen (Kevin) Doyle, and her grandchildren, Colin and Chloe Doyle. Chris was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Berry, and sister, Shari (Berry) Marx. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness for her many special nieces and nephews, who looked up to her as a source of inspiration and joy.

Chris was known for her exceptional gardening skills. Her vibrant flowers were a testament to her patience and attention to detail, earning her several awards from the Ogemaw County Fair and Garden Club.

Chris's love for animals was equally evident, as she found great joy in the companionship of her furry friends, especially her beloved Molly B Good. Her kind heart extended to all creatures, great and small.

In addition to her passion for cooking and gardening. She was a friend to many, always ready to lend a hand or share a smile. Her creative spirit and kind demeanor left an indelible mark on those around her, and her absence will be deeply felt.

Honoring Chris's wishes cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time.

A memorial dinner will be held in summertime 2026.
