He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Dubiel and Eva Dubiel (Dragula); his son Rodney Dubiel; his siblings, Edward Dubiel, Tom Dubiel, Dorothy Badour and Virginia Ringlein; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Swartz, Ruth Chaffee, Maryann Chaffee, Joan Dubiel, Richard Rosebrugh, Wallace Ringlein, Ronald Chaffee and Larry Chaffee.

He is survived by : his wife Delores Joann Dubiel (Chaffee); his daughter Debbie Knochel (Joe); and his grandchildren, Darin Knochel (Keri), Heather Wallace (Andrew) and Lucas Knochel.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Standish Chapel (127 N Forest St, Standish, MI 48658). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 1:15 PM.
