We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2022, at the age of 71, Garner F. Dewey (Standish, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Bobby Lou (Gomon); and his sister Patty Ruane of Livonia Michigan. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Mullison, Kimberly Rata and Garner Michael Dewey; and his grandchildren, Isaac, Elliot Mullison, Adrianna and Mikaela Rata.

Garner was an avid supporter of Doctors Without Borders as well as the ACLU, and wished that any gifts or donations in his honor be directed to those philanthropies.
