Gerald Vance Brown Obituary

Jerry was born on May 25, 1941, to the late Clarence Brown & Winnifred Bingham. He married his childhood sweetheart, Carol Osinski, on August 19, 1961. They shared 64 beautiful years together.

During his life, Jerry was a salesman for bread companies and retired from Sara Lee in 2006. He was a member of Resurrection of the Lord Church in Standish. Served as a Grand Knight & 4 th Degree member of the KC Council #2724. He is also a member of Standish Fire Authority. Jerry enjoyed hunting and taking care of his lawn, which he kept immaculate, and taking trips with dear friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Carol, children; Craig (Sue) Brown, Cathy (Scott) Cook, grandchildren; Amanda (Derek) Stolicker, Quintin, Andrew, Tyler Brown; great grandson; Easton Stolicker, two sisters; Barb Green of Florida, and Carol Smith of Midland, Michigan. He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Brown, his parents, in-laws, several brothers, and sister in laws.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am from Tuesday November 25, 2025 at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church with RE. Fr. David Parsch presiding with burial in St. James Catholic Cemetery, Whitmore. Family will greet friends and family on Monday from 3 to 6 pm. At 6 pm the Knights of Columbus Bible and a Fouth Degree Chalice Presentation will be held at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-STANDISH CHAPEL On. Tuesday Jerry will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers please consider Cystic Fibrosis, or Resurrection of the Lord Church.

At 6 pm a Knights of Columbus Bible and Chalice Presentation will be held.
