Roberta Anne Dzuricky Obituary
Roberta "Bobbi" Anne (Waytenick) Dzuricky, 70, of Standish MI, formerly of Erie PA, died peacefully at home on October 4, 2025.
Born May 1955 in Erie PA, Bobbi attended Blessed Sacrament School before graduating Tech Memorial High School in 1973. After studying at Columbus School of Art and Design, Bobbi began raising her children and a lifetime of volunteer work. At Mount Calvary Roman Catholic Church, she found a home and a place to give of herself. Whether volunteering at the school, coordinating fundraisers, designing spring dances, or decorating church, Bobbi was there with her can-do spirit and artistic skills at the ready.
Still needing to do more, in 1986, Bobbi began working for Gannondale Home for Girls. For more than 20 years, first as a teacher's assistant and eventually as intake coordinator, Bobbi worked diligently to ensure that every girl in her care felt important, safe, and loved.
Bobbi began the next chapter of her life when she moved to Standish MI. Unsurprising to all who knew her, she quickly found places to lend a hand. Finding a new home at Resurrection of the Lord Parish, Bobbi showed her style and skill in liturgical environment, as a eucharistic minister, and at the Food Pantry.
New friendships were made at church, working her catering job, and singing with the Arenac Choraleers. Bobbi even learned woodcarving; much to her delight.
Bobbi lived a life filled with art and reading, sharing those joys with everyone around her. Her life was marked by selfless giving, civic responsibility, and deep devotion to God, family, and friends.
Bobbi is survived by three children, their loving partners, one grandchild, two sisters, one brother, and many dear friends whom she loved as family.
In accordance with Bobbi's wishes, no viewing will be held. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 11 am from the Resurrection of the Lord Parish in Standish MI with Rev. Fr. Thomas Held presiding.
A celebration of life and internment will be held in Erie PA at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, Bobbi has requested that donations be made to Resurrection of The Lord Food Pantry. The family requests that to truly honor Bobbi's memory and spirit, please give generously of your time; volunteer somewhere, visit someone who is lonely, or share a meal with someone struggling to make ends meet.
