Victoria J. Droptiny Obituary
Victoria J. Droptiny, age 78, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025, with her family by her side in Standish, Michigan. She was born in Clio, Michigan July 31, 1947 to the late Alta Bernita Anderson. Vickie lived in Clio as a young child until moving to Standish.
She met Walter Droptiny at a horse show in Standish, Michigan. They married on March 8, 1964 in Gainesville, Florida and celebrated 35 years together before his passing on November 16, 1999. Vickie enjoyed barrel racing horses with her family, rodeos, gardening, crosswords, helping Walt with well drilling, spending time with her friends, and her family. She worked at Globe Sprinklers, Northern Tube, and watched her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Michele (Jeff) Fedak, Walter (Nina) Droptiny, Kelly (Brent) Rifenbark, Phillip (Dawn) Droptiny, grandchildren; Jeffrey (Alexis) Fedak, Christian (Levar) Fedak, Nina (Corey) Wiesman, Holly Schott, Samantha (Curt) Pynnonen, Victoria Droptiny, Elizabeth Droptiny, Taylor (Jacob) Sessink, Morgan (Thad) VanTifflin, Tyler (Nick) Martin, Karleigh (Collin) Martin, and Dakota Droptiny, and great grandchildren: Meih'lynn, Ethan, Lilyanna, Nina & Corey. Siblings: Della Harris, Rick Lytle, Sharlene (Joe) White, and Milton (Jodie) Edmonds. Vickie was preceded in death by baby Kathy, and Wayne Harris.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 11:00 am at Pinconning United Methodist Church, with Pastor John Tousciuk presiding, with burial in Pinconning Township Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Pinconning Chapel on Monday from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. On Tuesday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service.
