Wilfred D. Revord Obituary

Wilfred "Bill" D. Revord passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was born on September 21, 1939, to the late Charles and Marie (Sylvester) Revord. Bill was a lifelong resident of Sherman Township and proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Korea.

Bill worked for General Motors until his retirement in 1991. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who especially enjoyed spending time along the East Branch of the AuGres River and Raber Bay. He cherished the outdoors and the many memories made there with family and friends.

Bill is survived by his children, Keith (Dawn) Revord, Rhonda (Terry) Camp, and Holly Peters; his brothers, Orville (Grace) Revord and Allen (Mary) Revord; and his sisters, Joyce Christensen and Marlene (George) Guoan. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his life long special friend, Virginia Revord, the mother of his children.

He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Melvin (Charlene) Revord, Neil (Ruth) Revord, George Revord, Fred Revord, and Lila Guoan; his son-in-law, Kelly Peters; and his brother-in-law, Virgil Christensen.

Bill's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Compassus Hospice Care and MyMichigan Standish for the compassionate care and support provided during his final days.

Funeral mass will celebrate at 11: :00 a.m., at the Resurrection of the Lord with Rev., Fr., Tom Held residing with cremation to follow.
