He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Shirley Wirtz of Stanton; his children, Jessica Wirtz (Dani Weidauer) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Paxton Wirtz (Casey) of Ionia; his grandchildren, Rae and Sawyer; his siblings, Debra Mellema of Auburn, Alabama, Roger Wirtz of Stanton, James Wirtz of Rockford and John Wirtz (Julie) of Sand Lake; his siblings-in-law, John, Nancy Denslow and Kathy Clements; his wife Debra Wirtz; his father Frank Wirtz; and his nephew Brandon Wirtz. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Homes (246 S Main St, Sheridan, MI 48884).
