It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Allen Christensen of Stanton, Michigan, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophus Christensen and Bernice Christensen; his parents-in-law, Jesse and Doris Waldron; his former wife Carolyn Christensen; his siblings, Eloise Christensen, Ray, Lyle and Gene Christensen; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Johnson, Ron Christensen, Junior Campbell, Bob Throop, Gene Waldron and Darlene Throop.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Christensen; his children, Lynne Hodges (Duane) and Shelly Bosma (Terry); his grandchildren, Derek Hodges (Sarah), Amanda Simmon (Matt), Adam Gillis (Betsy), Joe Gillis (Denise), Heather Luce (Dan), Nicole Bing (Justin), Brent Bosma (Kerri) and Brooke VanderToorn (Josh); his sister Ruth Ann Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Anne Christensen, Betty Christensen, Willodean Waldron, Dorothy Campbell, Marylou Throop and Robert Waldron (Mary). He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Moose Lodge.
