He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Flinn; his son Tracy; his grandson Matthew Fitch; his brothers, Eugene and George; and his parents, George Sr. Brown and Elsie Brown (Sumner).
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Fitch (Mark Scarlato) of Manitou Beach, Scott Brown of Stanton and Mickey Brown (Diane) of Hubbardston; his daughter-in-law Ronda Brown of Howard City; his grandchildren, David III Fitch (Abby) of Whitefish, Montana, Katie Miller (Richard) of Crystal, Marcie Sikkes of Belding, Stacy Joiner (Joshua) of Jackson, Lexi Brown of Evansville, Jeremy Brown (Jessica) of Oak Grove, Christopher Brown (Cheyenne) of Portland and Chad Brown of Manistee; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Tylor, Brookelyn, Keegan, Abby, Carter, Naveah, Wyatt, Madison, Summer, Aubrey, Lucas, Bryan, Zander and Juliet; and his sisters, Marcella Christensen of Six Lakes and Leta Guild of Blanchard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Homes (225 W Cedar St, Stanton, MI 48888). A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stanton First Congregational Church (305 N Camburn St, Stanton, MI 48888).
Memorial donations may be made in Dale's honor to Stanton First Congregational Church or the White Pine Library.
