He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Vanessa Johnston (Gary Chirhart) of Parrish, Valerie Voigt (Dave Lindow) of Weidman, Heather Wilson of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Albert Johnston of Ohio; his grandchildren, Andrew Johnston, Thomas Hunt (Brooke), Gage Wheeler, Raegan Wasko, Elliot Wilson, Savannah Voigt, James Wilson, Oliver Voigt and Lucas Wasko; his great grandchildren, Landon and Nicholas; and his siblings, Melvina Keeler of Edmore and Steve Johnston of Vestaburg.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Homes (225 W Cedar St, Stanton, MI 48888). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
