It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva M. Hodges of Stanton, Michigan, who passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Eva departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Eva. Though Eva may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Larry and Gary Garner; and her parents, Laurence Grubaugh and Mearl Grubaugh (Peters). She is survived by: her son Kenneth Garner (Beth) of Phenix City; her daughters-in-law, Dale Garner of Sand Lake, Rebecca Garner and Joann Garner; and her friend Russell Rohn. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
