He is survived by: his children, Alan Matthews (Victoria) of Virginia, Dale Lake (Sandy Bakke) of Atlanta, Brian Lake (Rose) of Fenwick, Sue Buskirk (Jim) of Belding, Jackie Swing (Chris) of Harrietta and Marie Avey of Crystal. He is also survived by many grandchildren, a great-grandfather.
