With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Lynn Walls of Stanton, Michigan, born in Lakeview, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband John Walls; her parents, LeRoy Swartwood and Margaret Swartwood; and her siblings, Lawrence, Beatrice, Delores and Elmer.

She is survived by : her children, David McGorman of Sheridan, Cathy Leatherman (Louis Jr.) of Stanton and Jamie McGorman of Belding; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Leatherman, Elizabeth Seelye (David), Samantha Eyestone, Jacob Leatherman, Laura Lyn Hitsman, Breanna Carper and Katlynn Roberson.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walls Home (112 E Walnut St, Stanton, MI 48888).

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for consideration at this time of unexpected loss.
