She was loved and cherished by many people. She is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Ed) Baldwin, and a son, John Oiler; a brother, Jerry "Butch" McDaniel, two sisters including fraternal twin Mary (Frank) Hawley, and Wanda (Jim) Tolle; She was preceded in death by her parents, George McDaniel and Artie (Bartrum) McDaniel; her husband, William Kenneth Frye; a son, Paul Oiler, and six siblings: Wilma (Larry) Weimann, James "Aus" McDaniel, George "Bob" McDaniel, Clarence "Doc" McDaniel, Paul McDaniel, and Ernest McDaniel.

“Martha was one of my dad's sisters and I seen her several times at family get togethers. Her husband, Bill, used to make homemade hot sauce and hand it out to my dad and others who loved it. She'd send birthday cards and Christmas cards to our house nearly every year...also she'd call my dad every year on his birthday. She and her family used to live in the Gallipolis/Middleport area of Ohio but sometime in the late 1990s, I think, they moved up to Michigan.”
