It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Ray Abbott of Stanton, Michigan, born in Lakeview, Michigan, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arden Abbott and Beverly Abbott (Sherman); and his sister Tanya Abbott. He is survived by : his children, Samantha Abbott, Sabrina Logan (Robert) and Vince Abbott (Jazmine Tyler); his grandchildren, Serene, Aven, Jay, Jesslyn, Achille and Ryan; his siblings, Joy Abbott, Ray Abbott, Rose Abbott, Shelly Ramirez, Tina Hunt, Kelli Walcutt and Carry Johnson; and his close friend Carnell Jones. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
