He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Moon and Madolyn Moon (Pinkston); his uncle John Reed; his cousins, John MacClaren (Linda) and Terry Moon (Linda); his former wife Janice Bugbee; and his sisters, Janice, Judy and Joyce.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Clute-Moon; his children, Christian Clute (Renee), Andrew Clute and Nicole Wilson (Steve); his siblings-in-law, John Babcock, Lewis Borton (Sharon) and Laura Mosby; his aunt Loretta Hinderlang; and his close friend Judi Snyder.
