It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Eugene Witzel of Stanton, Michigan, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ken Witzel and Ruth Witzel. He is survived by: his wife Velma; his daughters, Eve Witzel (Kevin Ackley) and Ann Witzel (John Gooder); his grandchildren, Kate Perkins (Aaron Berkompas), Sophia DuHamel (P. J.), Isaac Hansen (Brittany), Dino Stickney (Skylar Russell) and Dezrey Ackley; his great grandchildren, Riley, Robert, Ryker, Aiyden, Austyn and Ainsley; and his close friends, Joe Kalinowski and Roger Witzel.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stanton American Legion Post 406 (337 W Day St, Stanton, MI 48888).
