He is survived by: his children, Vivian Ridgeway (Al) of Sheridan, Leora Bain (Daniel) of Jenison, Rebecca Betham of Grand Rapids and Hunter Betham of Stanton; his grandchildren, Kathryn Wakefield of Greenville, Ivy Ridgeway of Olivet, Keeona Bain (Benton Elliott) of Palo, Connor Bain, Cadence Bain of Jenison, Josh Ridgeway (Kelcie Spohn) of Sheridan, Matthew Ridgeway of Sheridan and Zach; his great grandchildren, Chandra Elliott, Sorin Elliott, Ethan Friend and Makenzie Ridgeway; his sisters, Lorri Roberts (Michael) and Pamela Hull (Craig); and his close friend Rex Fuhrman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Homes (246 S Main St, Sheridan, MI 48884). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Sidney Cemetery (3228 W Sidney Rd, Sidney, MI 48885).
