It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia L. Shilling (Stanton, Michigan), who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Ehlert and Hattie Ehlert (Buchholz); her husband James Shilling; her grandson Matthew Shilling; and her brother Harold Ehlert.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Reed, Robert Shilling, Gary and Phyllis Shilling; and her grandchildren, Kim (Ernie), Kory (Todd), Theresa, Marcie (Nate), Kasey (Nate), Amy (Mike), Hollie, Taylor, Ed, Lisa (Kevin) and Cindy (Randy). She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ginny can be directed to Hope Lutheran Church or Corewell Health Hospice & Palliative Care West Michigan.
