He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Bill, Arlene Hopkins, Lloyd, Evelyn Mutchler and Gerald Coles; and his stepparents, Ann Hopkins and Roger Dukes.

He is survived by : his parents, Mary Dukes and Bill Hopkins (Holly); his wife Kerri Hopkins; his children, Ashley Silvernail and Roy Silvernail; his siblings, Evelyn Cusack, Buffy Ostrander, Scott Crawford, Richard Brokaw (Julie), Travis Dukes (Sam), Brian Hopkins (Steph) and Don Ledger (Traci); his parents-in-law, Chris Jeffrey and Charlie Jeffrey; his sister-in-law Amanda Jeffrey; and his stepgrandmother Carolyn Coles.
