He was predeceased by: his parents, Casey Marek and Anneke Marek (Veenstra); and his grandparents, Annie Veenstra and Frank Marek (Bill). He is survived by: his siblings, Casey (C. J.) and MacKenna; and his grandparents, Joyce Marek and Curt Veenstra. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
