We announce the death of Sarah May Gatehouse of Stanwood, Michigan, who passed away on June 13, 2026, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Howell and Sarah Howell; her husbands, Kenneth Fey Gatehouse Sr. and William "Bill" Snider; her son Jack Gatehouse Sr.; her daughter-in-law Sona Gatehouse; her grandson Joshua Gatehouse; and her siblings, Dan Howell, Harold Howell, John Howell, Mary Lazarus and Dottie Meyers.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Krum (Brian), Terry Gatehouse and Ken Gatehouse Jr.; her sister Jennie Moody (Fred); and her grandchildren, Tony Gatehouse (Jodi), Nick Schoner (Sara), Sarahmae Gatehouse, Jack Gatehouse (Joanna), Jerimiah Gatehouse (Whitney), Jenna Gatehouse, Dillon Gatehouse (Rachel), Talia Boyne (Rudy), Grace Gatehouse (RJ Bradshaw), Shalyn Collins-Hayes (Trevor), Kelli Walton (Chris) and Karie Boyd (BJ). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to Corewell Health Hospice in recognition of the compassionate care provided to Sarah and her family.
