He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Schlenvogt (Kirt); and his brother-in-law Mat Dew. He is survived by: his father Harold Schlenvogt of Stephenson, MI; his wife Elizabeth Schlenvogt; his children, TJ, Johnny (Lexie King), Brett (Ella Johnson), Jordan and Scotty; and his siblings, Steven (Joan), Scott Jane Schlenvogt (Kim), Julie Schlenvogt and Tina Johnson (Anthony).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Christ the King Lutheran Church (1230 18th St N, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stephenson Township Cemetery (W5206 Old 352 Rd, Stephenson, MI 49887).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family to establish a scholarship in Pete's honor at a future date.
