He is survived by: his children, Jenny Thompson (Paul) of Ann Arbor, MI, Sara Bigelow of Escanaba, MI and Mark Wirhanowicz (Jenny) of Bark River, MI; and his sisters, Rose Axtell of Menominee, MI and Barbara Blahnik of Carney, MI.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
