He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Stoyanovich and Spiro Stoyanovich; and his parents-in-law, Clara and John Hilla. He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Craig Stoyanovich (Laura), Sara Detlor (Mark), Matthew Stoyanovich, Jana McNair (Joshua) and Frank Ala; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Skonieczny (James) and Mark Hilla (Katherine). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, many other close family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Non-profit organization Metro Detroit Sled Hockey Adult B Team and the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Research Foundation for Parkinson's Research are appreciated.
