In the sacred silence of farewell, Arnold is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Arnold's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanne Gorney; his sons, Bryan and Zackary; his parents, Arnold Gorney and Rosie Gorney; his siblings, Dean Gorney (Leah) and Duane; and his friend Arne.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons - Shelby Township (54880 Van Dyke, Shelby Township, MI 48316). A rosary will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (54045 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48315-1403).
