Bernice Vethacke Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2025, at the age of 98, Bernice Vethacke of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Watkins and Catherine Watkins; her husband Herman Vethacke; her son Paul Vethacke; and her sisters, Irene Watkins, Margaret Woitha and Mildred DeMario.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Vethacke (Kathryn) and Lisa Breuer (Thomas); and her stepgrandson Derek Ryan. She is also survived by her niece and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church (38750 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48310). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
