With sadness, we share the passing of Brenda Caris Kotsis of Sterling Heights, Michigan. Brenda, born on July 11, 1955, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Brenda for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Caris and Niki. She is survived by: her husband Ted Kotsis; her children, Michael Kotsis (Jill), Elaine Kotsis and Manny Kotsis (Aubrey); and her brother Jim Caris (Maryann). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons (36900 Schoenherr Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (21800 Marter Rd, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A committal service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038-2903).
