He was predeceased by: his parents, Casmir and Lillian; and his siblings, Lorraine, Shirley and William.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Lingo; his children, Tracey Pardington and Robin Kleiner; his grandchildren, Nathaniel (Sara), Chelsea (Jed), Jacob (Laura) and Troy (Gabrielle); his great grandchildren, Theodore, Kyle, Jacob, Joanna, Henrik, Marylyn, Emma, Georgia and Evelyn; and his brother Kenneth.
The lying in state will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Troy (2601 John R Rd, Troy, MI 48083). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at the same location.
