David Waltereit Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Waltereit of Sterling Heights, Michigan, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; and his children, James (Melissa), Janine (Scott), John (Beth) and Julie (Geoff). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors, Inc. - Sterling Heights (3801 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). The lying in state will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Community Baptist Church (42259 Hayes Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
