With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doru Nicolescu (Sterling Heights, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his sister Amelia; and his mother Paulina. He is survived by: his daughters, Natalie Bazarewski (Stan), Paula Nicolescu and Gina Nicolescu; his grandchildren, Sean, Joseph, Jacob and Kristen; his niece Darlene; and his wife Nancy Zambardi.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (13650 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at the same location.
