With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dragica Ognjanovski of Sterling Heights, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dragica left this world on June 24, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Dragica shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dragica farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Djuro Anjelko; and her siblings, Milan Stojanovski and Spasija Georgievski. She is survived by: her children, Steven Ognjanovski (Irena) and Kosti Ognjanovski (Kelly); and her grandchildren, Dr. Elaine Ognjanovski, Jennifer Ognjanovski and Aubrey Ognjanovski.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons (54880 Van Dyke, Shelby Township, MI 48316). A prayer will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral (43123 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314).
