George Kurzym Obituary
George Kurzym, age 74, resident of Sterling Heights, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Troy, Michigan. Born February 9, 1946 in Germany to the late Eugene and Maria Kurzym (nee Turowski). George was a longtime carpenter in the Detroit area working for many years with the Detroit Board of Education. Cherished husband of 51 years to Cynthia Kurzym (nee Kapa).
Devoted and loving father of Jeffrey Kurzym, Andrew (Sherry) Kurzym, Kara (Russ) Rodriguez, Jessica Kurzym and, Kristi (Stephen) Stawicki. Proud grandfather of Stella Stawicki, Christopher Stawicki, and Alexandria Rodriguez. Dear brother of Jim (Jeanne) Kurzym, and Henry (Kateri) Kurzym. Much loved by his sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
