She was predeceased by: her husband Alex Calderone; her brother Joseph Buccinna (late Tina); and her nephew Joe Buccinna. She is survived by: her brother Anthony "Tony" Buccinna (late Joan); her sibling's children, Katherine Metiva (Michael), Lisa Blackburn (Jay) and James Buccinna (Jessica); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma, Michael, Zachary, Ryan, Evan, Christopher and Matthew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (13650 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capuchins or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, two causes close to Gerri's heart.
