Gloria Filar Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Filar of Sterling Heights, Michigan, who passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gloria Filar to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley; her daughters, Cynthia Richard (Daniel) and Janet; and her siblings, William Dolinski (Ruth) and Mildred Pechette (John).
She is survived by: her children, Gregory (Mary Lynn), Kenneth (Debra), Joseph (Celeste), Richard (Rachel), Linda (Louis Csak) and Carol Prescott (James). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons (54880 Van Dyke, Shelby Township, MI 48316). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Kieran Catholic Church (53600 Mound Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48316). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
