He was predeceased by: his brother Bernd Schimanski. He is survived by: his close friends, Martha, Nancy, Gina, Linda, Yash and Billy; his son Hans (Jadwiga); his grandsons, Christopher (Ashley) and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Sophie and Jude.
