She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Daniel Bates; and her siblings, John Walsh, Raymond Walsh, Rosemary Yurik and Arline Zundel.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ellen Bates, Carol Ann Blake, Roy D. Bates II and Rita Kulczycki (John); her grandchildren, Terri Stong, J. Joseph Kulczycki and Jake Kulczycki; and her great grandchildren, Madeline and Emma Stong. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons (54880 Van Dyke, Shelby Township, MI 48316). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St Rene Goupil Catholic Parish (35955 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48310). A Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
