James leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. James’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew James will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy and Mabel; and his brothers, Thomas and Jerome. He is survived by: his sons, Brian (Stephanie) and John (Kate); and his wife Cindi. He is also survived by two children, and two grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors, Inc. - Sterling Heights (3801 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). The lying in state was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Christian Memorial Gardens West (521 E Hamlin Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307).
